- At the July 2015 Annual Council of the Federation meeting, Premiers adopted the Canadian Energy Strategy (CES) (1.86 MB PDF)
- The CES serves as a framework to foster greater collaboration between provinces and territories on Canada’s most significant energy issues. By working together, provinces and territories can contribute to economic growth and prosperity, and encourage the development of innovative energy solutions that promote a sustainable and reliable supply of energy.
- Manitoba currently holds the secretariat role for the CES and co-chairs implementation with Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick.
